Home Board
For dry-erase devotees

The whiteboard calendar app that lets you keep the whiteboard

Your command center stays on the wall, markers and all. Home Board reads a photo of the board and syncs it to Apple and Google Calendar on every phone in the house.

Wipe it, redraw it, snap it again

Dry-erase calendars start fresh every month — that's the appeal, and it's what breaks most 'digitize your calendar' tools. Home Board expects it. When you erase October and draw November, take a new photo: events you already confirmed stay put on everyone's phones, and only what's genuinely new or changed gets added. Redrawing the board never means retyping the month.

Made for marker handwriting

Home Board reads real family command-center boards: five kinds of handwriting, color-coded markers, times squeezed into corners, a soccer trip drawn as an arrow across four days. Anything it isn't sure about is shown to you next to the photo before it touches a single phone.

The board stays the boss

Home Board never asks you to give up the whiteboard for an app. The board is the family's source of truth; phones just mirror it. And when plans get made away from the wall, the Touch-ups list tells you exactly what to write up when you're next standing in front of it.

Questions

What happens when I erase the whiteboard for a new month?

Just snap the redrawn board. Events you already synced stay on everyone's phones; Home Board only adds what's new. Erasing the board never erases the calendar.

Can Home Board read dry-erase marker?

Yes — marker on a whiteboard is the classic case. Color-coding, arrows for multi-day trips, and cramped corner handwriting are all fair game, and anything uncertain is confirmed with you first.

Do we need a special whiteboard or template?

No. Any grid you already draw — monthly, weekly, or a column per kid — works. If a person can read it, Home Board can usually read it too.

How do events reach our phones?

Each family member adds a private Home Board calendar feed to Apple or Google Calendar once. Every confirmed snap after that shows up automatically.

Keep the whiteboard. Sync the family.
